FAQs

Do you do other events aside from weddings?

Yes, I will preserve flowers from just about any event. From funerals, gender reveals, anniversaries, weddings, and so much more. If the event is not listed on my website, email me and we will make it work!

What’s your turnaround time?

Turnaround time is greatly affected by peak wedding season/s and the size of the order. A maximum of 6 months’ time is what can be expected. Most orders are sent out far earlier than this but it’s important that all clients are aware that preservation takes time! Larger orders will receive updates throughout the drying/designing processes.

Does your preservation process change the color of the flowers?

The preservation method I use is the best for keeping flowers as close to the original color and shape as possible. Some flowers change more than others. Bright red roses, for example, turn into a darker color. While vibrant pink colors can darken and sometimes turn purple. All flowers can change in some shape or form. If you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this contact me, and i’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Can all florals be preserved?

In short yes, I would say 99% of florals can be preserved. Florals with incredibly high water content can be difficult and change in appearance more than the average flower. There are very few florals that do not preserve well. So when in doubt reach out! You’d be surprised at what we can preserve, tiny pineapples included!

Will the resin-preserved pieces look different as they age?

The resin I use is of the highest quality and will stand the test of time if cared for properly. However, as the years go by and any resin can develop a slight yellow tint, this gives your piece of art a beautiful vintage glow. The resin can last for decades and the color change could be so small it may not even be noticeable. The most important thing to know is to keep your piece out of direct sunlight and out of extreme heat. This will cause the resin to yellow.

Can we drop off the flowers locally instead of shipping them?

Yes! If dropping off locally is available to you I would highly recommend it. Local drop-off will save hundreds in shipping and ensure your flowers don’t get any damage while transporting. When you submit your order form let me know you want to do a local drop off and we will schedule the time and place later. (Drop-off is available to anyone nearing the Tulsa Ok area. However, OKC clients have made the drive as well and still saved money.)

My wedding has already passed and I kept and dried my bouquet, can you still preserve my flowers?

Yes, air-dried flowers can be just as stunning to preserve. If there is too much damage we can make you a recreation piece!

What flowers are the most delicate to ship?

Peonies, Anemones, Tulips, Iris/Dutch Iris, Poppies, Dahlias, and Lilies.

I kept my bouquet for a long time but it’s damaged. Can you still work with it?

Of course! Air-dried flowers are no problem, if there is significant damage and you want it to look pristine, we can do a floral recreation. Just send me photos of your original flowers and I can source them locally and replicate them. If you still want a few elements from your bouquet in the piece we can do that as well. Old and new come together for a beautiful and memorable piece of art.

How far in advance should I book my flowers?

Book with me as soon as you know the date of the event whether it be a wedding, memorial, or special occasion.
